CHICAGO'S RIVERWALK FEATURED IN FINANCIAL TIMES
Architect  Carol Ross Barney, who designed Chicago's Riverwalk, was quoted in a Financial Times article that highlighted the Riverwalk as "complex, urbane and intriguing." The article also noted the Riverwalk as, "a tour of a vibrant ongoing project in what is 'perhaps the most architecturally aware city on earth.'" Read more...

ADLER PLANETARIUM TO EXPAND "SCOPES IN THE CITY" THANKS TO $1M GIFT
The Adler Planetarium ( Michelle Larson) will expand its "Scopes in the City" program after an anonymous $1 million gift earlier this year, according to DNA Info. About 2,000 people a year get to see constellations, comets and other interstellar phenomena from telescopes in their neighborhoods through the program launched in 2014. The Planetarium visits 20 to 25 venues a year, including the suburbs, and trips should increase after the gift. Read more...

To ensure United Airlines continues to innovate and execute across all technology and digital fronts, United has named Linda Jojo Executive Vice-President, Technology and Chief Digital Officer. 

In addition to her current responsibility for United's technology platforms and analytics, Linda will lead the strategy, development and deployment of United's e-commerce, mobile app and commercial web platforms. This expanded role builds on her contributions over the past three years transforming United's state-of-the-art technology capabilities such as the company's mobile tools and apps for customers and employees.
