Interior Renovation/Expansion for Private Client Nearly Complete Phase 1 of our interior renovation and design build expansion project is drawing to a close! This was a new client for us in 2018, and we loved the opportunity to take on an exciting, new project. Our client is a national manufacturer of chemical products, and renovations focused on updates to their existing warehouse, offices, restrooms, laboratory spaces, and a building addition. Project Manager Mark Riedy led the renovation, beginning in May 2018 and we are set to finish in January in the upcoming weeks. See all our work here, and stay tuned for final photos soon! LA Fitness Site Work, Lombard - Project Complete Victor Construction led the demolition of existing retail buildings and site preparation for what will be a new LA Fitness location. Our crew had full-time onsite supervision for the duration of this extensive project. Project Manager Mark Riedy oversaw demolition, excavation and repaving of parking lot, and revised landscaping of existing plots. This project was for Brixmor Property Management Group, a repeat client of Victor Construction. We reached substantial completion in late 2018 - check out our progress photos in full here! Meet Victor: Alexis Jones, Accounting Guru, Welcomes Baby #2 Alexis joined us in August of 2017 and quickly became an invaluable member of our team. As Victors accounting expert, Alexis is our client and subcontractor go-to, managing the payment process on every project. Besides crunching numbers, in her free time Alexis is a makeup artist, working weddings and other special events! Most recently, just after Thanksgiving Alexis gave birth to her second child, Killian Jameson Jones. Killian joins his older brother Seamus, who often visits us in office, helping out his mom and Victor staff alike. Congratulations to Alexis, her husband Jimmy, and Seamus on the arrival of baby Killian! |

Meet Victor: Welcome Anthony Shepherd, Victors new Project Engineer Anthony joins Victor Construction with a forthcoming degree in Project Management from Indiana State, and 2 years construction experience with other industry leaders. As Project Engineer, Anthony assists the Project Manager from opening bid to an awarded projects completion. Anthony reviews project scope, writes take-offs, and helps to answer all questions from our subcontractors and clients. On awarded projects, Anthony works face-to-face with clients and vendors alike, keeping track of project scheduling and budgets alongside the PM. Outside of Victor, Anthony is also an active writer, working on various projects, while also finishing up his degree, set for 2019! Anthonys incredible work ethic, attentiveness, and friendly approach make him a great addition to our team - were excited to have him aboard! |
