NEW: WCA Announces 1000 Jobs Challenge, New Leader Roundtable

Two new WCA initiatives, announced at our annual leadership event, address one of the most pressing issues facing businesses today: building a regional talent pipeline:

  • The 1,000 Jobs Challenge aims to fill one thousand high-demand jobs in five years, translating to over $60 million in annual economic impact. Led by Jason Chapin, WCA’s Director of Workforce Development, the program aligns all of WCAs workforce efforts to boost Westchester's position as a hub for talent and innovation.

  • The WCA New Leader Roundtable cultivates Westchester’s next generation of professionals. Led by co-chairs Andrew Weisz, President, RPW Group, and Brad Schwartz, Partner, Zarin & Steinmetz, LLP, the powerhouse of young executives engages emerging leaders as a force for change. Activities to date include collaborating with Yonkers Partners in Education to provide high school students exposure to diverse career paths and presenting the inaugural New Leader Trailblazer Award to Kristen Motel, Partner, Cuddy & Feder.
