A New Leader for New Times
914 INC Corner Office Featuring WCA's Michael N. Romita
Michael Romita’s first day as president and CEO of the 70-year-old Westchester County Association was March 1, 2020. That in itself would spook most incoming chief executives, yet to make matters even worse, the world as we knew it would change just two weeks later.

“You know,” says Romita, “the great philosopher Mike Tyson once said, ‘Everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the face!’”
WCA 'Beltway Briefings' Continue Every Friday Morning
New York State Assemblyman Steve Otis (District 91) was a guest on this episode of the WCA's Beltway Briefing, and shared in the below recorded segment that current fiscal projections estimate that without federal aid, New York State is facing a $13 billion shortfall in revenues to the state. Most of the federal funding to the state goes to the education and healthcare sectors. Local sales tax revenues are down statewide substantially, which affects businesses, as well as local and county governments.
