Available Financial Resources from NYS to Help Your Business
As New York State continually monitors and responds to developments related to COVID-19, Empire State Development is providing up-to-date guidance for the agency’s partners and other stakeholders impacted by the virus. This is a rapidly changing situation and ESD will be updating the resources to reflect the latest information available.

New York Forward Loan Fund
New York Forward Loan Fund (NYFLF) is a new economic recovery loan program aimed at supporting New York State small businesses, nonprofits and small landlords as they reopen after the COVID-19 outbreak and NYS on PAUSE.

NYFLF targets the state’s small businesses with 20 or fewer full-time equivalent (FTE) employees (90% of all businesses), nonprofits and small residential landlords that have seen a loss of rental income.

If your business has been impacted by COVID-19, the SBA offers grants, forgivable loans and other lending opportunities as part of the CARES Act. You can also apply for our Emergency Express Loan for up to $10,000 in bridge capital. Please note: we are linking to the source for the most up-to-date and current information. COVID-19 SBA lending is available through the CARES Act.


The deadline for applying for applying for the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan is December 21, 2020. Click Here for More Information.

Westchester County's Economic Development Office has created the Launch1000 program with a goal of enabling 1,000 Westchester residents to start a business or develop an income stream for themselves and their families. Launch1000 is an online, self-paced program teaching you to evaluate your idea, test it with potential customers, and see if it seems likely to succeed. More Info Here.
