Expert speakers from NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center and Grassi’s HR & Organizational Development explored the implications of a virtual work world, coupled with economic recession and health concerns, on employees’ mental health. In this 30 minute video, learn about available resources and suggestions to accessing mental health or substance use services that you can give to your employees.

Understanding the Child Care Crisis in Westchester
On March 9, at 9:00AM leaders from the private sector will discuss the current challenges of recruiting and retaining women in the workforce—especially those with child care needs. And, more importantly, they will share valuable insights as to how they added programs and services that resulted in positive impacts on their workforce and business.

M&T Bank has recently announced that it plans to buy People’s United Bank in an all-stock transaction that values the Bridgeport, Conn.-based bank at roughly $7.6 billion. The combined banks would have more than $200 billion in assets and a branch network spanning the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states. The combined bank will maintain a corporate presence in Bridgeport. The Lubin School of Business at Pace University has successfully maintained its dual accreditation for both business and accounting by AACSB International, the University recently announced. Lubin's dual accreditation by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is an elite distinction shared by fewer than 2 percent of business schools in the world offering business degree programs. Forman has joined the firm as Of Counsel in their Fishkill, N.Y., office focusing on mediation and arbitration cases and the general practice of law. Judge Forman recently retired from the bench after 21 years of public service. “Judge Forman’s decades of experience and insights from the bench will be an invaluable resource and an excellent complement to the expertise of our litigation and mediation practices,” said Christopher B. Westchester Visiting Nurse Services Group, Inc. recently announced the launch of VNSW Community Care Navigation, Inc. a new company that will provide a wide range of care navigation services for individuals, employers and groups. The company, based at the Group’s headquarters in White Plains, is the newest addition to its family of agencies. Lyft Inc and CVS Health Corp recently announced that they would team up in the United States to provide access to COVID-19 vaccinations among under-served communities by arranging rides and scheduling appointments. The ride-sharing app and the pharmacy chain's initiative would particularly focus on Black and Hispanic populations, and they have partnered with YMCA and other non-profit organizations.
