New York State Issues Additional Information and
Resources on New Mask and Vaccine Requirements
Following the implementation of new mask guidelines by Governor Hochul on December 13, New York State has released additional information and resources for businesses and venues. Posters for businesses or venues to use in their window or door informing patrons and visitors of the requirements can be found at the links below. These are designed to support local employees when they have to ask customers, patrons or visitors to follow the requirements. The NYS Department of Health has updated the related FAQs.
 
State and County Surveys - your opinion counts
  • New York State Department of Public Service (DPS) and ECC Technologies are conducting a survey of consumers on the status of broadband services availability and use at homes and businesses.

Your Response Requested: Westchester County Department of Planning: Post-COVID-19 Employer Survey (Transportation/Remote Work)
 
This is a reminder to complete the Westchester County Planning Department’s survey regarding how businesses in Westchester County have adopted remote work policies in response to COVID-19, and how such policies have impacted workspace needs and commuting practices. This survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your participation is greatly appreciated. 

The survey deadline has been extended through January 5, 2022.

WCC to Offer Short-Term Workforce Training in New White Plains Center with Major Funding from JPMorgan Chase

Westchester Community College (WCC) began operations at the White Plains Education & Training Center (WPETC) this month to provide a convenient and state-of-the-art location for those looking to re-enter or upskill in the workforce. Centrally located within the White Plains Brookfield Commons residential housing complex, the community celebrated the official reopening of the facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 10, 2021. WCC is partnering with a network of organizations and companies to deliver short-term training tailored to the needs of area employers
