Waterloo Regional Police Welcome 16 New Officers

16 new constables received their badges after completing their training at the Ontario Police College. These new officers bring experience from a variety of former careers and look forward to serving the Region of Waterloo.

Buy and Sell Exchange Zone at North Division

We are reminding the public of the buy and sell exchange zone at North Division, located at 45 Columbia Street in Waterloo, after another individual falls victim of a robbery. You are encouraged to use this location when meeting to exchange items safely.

Charges Laid Under Reopening Ontario Act

On December 30, 2020, Waterloo Regional Police, in consultation with Region of Waterloo Public Health, issued a charge under the ROA to members of a church in Woolwich Township.

Community Connection

Even with this challenging year, our #WRAwesome community generously donated to our Stuff-a-Cruiser campaign. With your support, $4,872 toys and $4,330 in cash was collected for children in need.

Over the past 11 years, we've collected 68,643 toys and $87,309. Way to go!

Kaitlyn’s letter to Santa got a little lost along its way to the North Pole, but don’t worry, we made sure it got to him before Christmas.

We also stopped by to drop off an early Christmas surprise and to make sure she knew Santa saw her list.
