Youth and Family Ministry Update
With so much changing in our world, the focus of youth ministry is now about staying connected. I am working with youth directors and national and regional consultants to share ideas and resources to help us to remain active in the lives of our youth. It has been inspiring to experience the determination of our youth ministry professionals as we explore new technology and step out of our comfort zones. Below are some updates for our region and resources for your youth program.

Cancellation:
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the YOU Official Rally previously scheduled for April 24-26 . We are investigating options for rescheduling or changing the format of the rally to an online event.
Connecting From a Distance:
I am working with the Regional Officer Team to offer Sunday lessons for our teens to share via Zoom conferencing . We had our first lesson on Sunday, 3/22, with thirty-nine people joining the conference and had a wonderful time connecting. These online services will continue until churches can meet again in person. Youth Directors should have received an email with the login information, if you did not, please let me know.

Resources:
Diane Venzera has added some new resources to Unity Worldwide Ministries website. You will find lesson plans and links to support youth ministries and parents. Please make sure to visit this page and check back as it is updated often.
You can also find some beautiful coloring pages at the Unity Arts Ministry Page. Each page has a picture and an inspirational quote. They are a beautiful reminder to be in the moment.
It is my joy to support our youth and youth ministry leaders, if I can help you in any way, please contact me.
