The BC Chicken Marketing Board is pleased to welcome
Vicki Crites
to the team as the new Director of Policy.
Vicki brings nearly 20 years’ experience in public policy to the Board.
She worked as a senior policy analyst, in research and in intergovernmental relations
(10 years) for Health Canada. Having moved to the Fraser Valley, Vicki eventually joined agricultural policy in her role as a Policy Manager at the BC Milk Marketing Board and then as Director of Policy and Sustainability at the BC Dairy Association.
She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia. Before she went back to University, Vicki worked as a yield analyst for Canadian and American Airlines. She is passionate about equity, collaboration and transparency in the development of policy, and ensuring that all affected stakeholders are taken into account. Vicki resides in Abbotsford with her 17-year-old son, who nearly always beats her at ping-pong.
