WE MADE IT TO 2021!! Give yourself a pat on the back, because I know that you deserve it! As we all know, 2020 was an unforeseen year that no one could have predicted. This was a year of pivot and change, not only for the chamber but for all businesses in American Canyon.

Even though we are ringing in the New Year under the state of CA Regional Stay At Home Order, the 2021 plans for the American Canyon include finding ways we can help your business with Economic Recovery. I want to reassure you that not a day goes by that I don't have the best interest of your business at the top of my To-Do List. I am here to serve you. I want you to know that we are working hard to make sure we all make it through this pandemic and come out stronger and more connected than ever.

I am beyond proud of our business community. You stepped up and helped in any way possible. Not only did you help our restaurants and small businesses, but also supported our schools and the other non-profit organizations in town. There was no manual that came with the changes that needed to be made for 2020, but our community didn't let that stop us from being as amazing and supportive as we have always been.

You are all probably aware by now that the chamber does a January Membership renewal. As your 2020 President/CEO I hope that I delivered the value you were looking for from your Membership. It's my job to make sure that I am bringing value to our members and that is exactly what I want to be doing. We know that funds are tight for a lot of businesses and we don't want that to stop you from renewing your 2021 Membership. Please reach out to me if you are unable to pay for your membership. I want to help all of our members figure out a way to stay part of the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce. We are here for you, more now than ever.

2020 YEAR IN REVIEW
Check out what the chamber did for our Business Community in 2020! We know this year was different for everyone, but we are proud to be able to provide value to our community. Watch the video to get the full review from our President/CEO.
2021 CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP
We are partnering with Redwood Credit Union in launching our 2021 Member Scholarship Program. We know that the small businesses in American Canyon have been hit hard by the Covid-19 Pandemic. We want to assure you that our members have access to the Chamber's resources. We are taking 10 members at the Basic Level Membership into our Scholarship program.

Resources Include:
  • 2021 Chamber Basic Level Membership
  • Financial Coaching from Redwood Credit Union
  • Access To All Member Resources
  • Monthly meetings with Chamber President/CEO, Redwood Credit Union, and other business guest speakers
  • Tools for Social Media Marketing
  • Participation in the To Back To The Table campaign (this is for restaurants only)
  • Access to Chamber President/CEO for personal meetings and brainstorm sessions on how to help your business.

Join us for our 2021 Board Installation! We will be swearing in our new 2021 Board Members at our Business Social Distancing. We will also be naming Member, Business, and Volunteer of the year. Normally we would do this at our Annual I AM I CAN Dinner, but due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we will have to put that on hold. But we promise, when it's time to gather again, we will.

AMERICAN CANYON RESTAURANT WEEK

As we all know the Restaurant Industry has been hit very hard by the Covid-19 Pandemic. We are asking you to participate in our 2nd ever Restaurant Week, but this year it is TO GO style.

You can help by purchasing To Go food or a gift card from one of our local restaurants. They need your help more now then ever.

We have kicked off our Back To The Table Campaign. This event was created to help encourage our local businesses and residents to patronize the American Canyon restaurants. We have had great success and are very thankful for all the community support.

๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐—ฃ๐—ฃ๐—ฃ ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ:

โ€ข PPP borrowers can set their PPP loanโ€™s covered period to be any length between 8 and 24 weeks to best meet their business needs;

โ€ข PPP loans will cover additional expenses, including operations expenditures, property damage costs, supplier costs, and worker protection expenditures;

โ€ข The Programโ€™s eligibility is expanded to include 501(c)(6)s, housing cooperatives, direct marketing organizations, among other types of organizations;

โ€ข The PPP provides greater flexibility for seasonal employees;

โ€ข Certain existing PPP borrowers can request to modify their First Draw PPP Loan amount; and

โ€ข Certain existing PPP borrowers are now eligible to apply for a Second Draw PPP Loan.

SMALL BUSINESS GRANT RELIEF AVAILABLE UNTIL 1/13/2021
California's Small BusinessCOVID-19 Relief Grant Program is offering eligible California businesses and nonprofits grants of $5,000 - $25,000 and that the application deadline has been extended to 1/13. Learn more at http://CAReliefGrant.com.
