It's Time to Renew Your Membership

A friendly reminder that it's time to renew your Vela Membership. Being a Vela member is a simple way to support Vela Canada’s mandate in creating a more inclusive society by providing people with disabilities systems that encourage independent living and self-directed lifestyles. It also allows us to keep our services free for people in British Columbia.

A Vela membership is only $30 a year.

What are the benefits to being a Vela Member? Watch here as Kim Thomas, our Co-Executive Director, explains the benefits.

Join the
New Non-Profit Society for
Home Sharing
Community Living BC (CLBC) is supporting the creation of an independent non-profit society for home sharing and they are currently looking for Board Members.

This is an exciting opportunity that will benefit home sharing providers and enable them to feel more supported in their very important role and will also provide a more positive experience for those living in home share.

If you would like to be involved in this new initiative then we encourage you to  apply to be a Board Member.
