Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
When this pandemic started, many of us had mental images of returning to LCN all at once to celebrate the liturgy and enjoy Christian fellowship. We now have learned that returning to worship in the church will have to happen in planned stages. Please click on the embedded links to review the
<LCN Stage 1 Guidelines

>, and the
<LCN Stage 3 Guidelines
>. We now are in stage 2.
Our church's future will depend on not only what we do but also on the behavior of the virus, the actions of other individuals, and our local communities and government.
Our way forward will not be determined by following a timetable, but by prayerfully and faithfully studying the science and discerning the signs of the times and responding accordingly. And, you know that it has always been this way for the church, “you have called your servants to ventures which we cannot see the ending, by paths yet untrodden, through perils unknown.”
It is the prayer of this task force that we all be connected to hope. We pray for a spirit of discernment, for wisdom and patience. We pray for the research efforts. We pray for our medical professionals. We pray for all who are ill and recovering. We pray for those grieving and struggling with the heaviness of these times and those who “wait upon the Lord.” And we pray with gratitude and praise to Christ as we look forward to the time when we can all be together and worship in our LCN sanctuary.
Yours in Christ,
The LCN Reopening Task Force
