Monday, August 10, 2020
We continue to provide our business community with the latest updates and tools from the City of Miami Beach during this pandemic.
RISE Loan Program
The RISE Loan program is now open to Miami-Dade County businesses impacted by COVID-19. The maximum loan amount a business can receive is $30,000.
To be eligible, a business must operate within Miami-Dade County, be in operation for a minimum of 2-years, have gross sales of less than $2 Million and have 25 or fewer employees or independent contractors. Complete details on this program are available here.
Miami-Dade County's Hospitality Industry Grant (HIG) Program
Local, independently-owned and operated restaurants and non-home-based caterers impacted by COVID-19 are eligible to apply for relief monies through the Miami-Dade County Hospitality Industry Grant Program.

The $30 million HIG program will be calculated based on individual percentages of eligible costs incurred, with a maximum award of $25,000 per establishment. The program will award grants to a maximum of two (2) establishments per restaurant/hospitality group. Priority will be given to applicants that have a single establishment. If an applicant has two or more establishments and requests assistance for both, then a single application must be submitted. Learn more and apply here.
Safety for All - Printable Posters
The city is providing printable posters that communicate the requirement of facial coverings, which can be placed around your respective business.

Safety posters are available to be printed in both English and Spanish.

As a reminder, all persons in public spaces and places, both indoors and outdoors, are required to wear facial coverings, as defined in the County’s EO 20-20, as amended. Any person not wearing a facial covering is subject to a $50 civil fine.

We urge everyone to continue practicing social distancing and meticulously washing your hands regularly. View our Restaurant Safety Guidelines here.
