Frontier announces nonstop service in return to Wilmington Airport
Officials gathered at Wilmington Airport on Tuesday morning for the announcement that Frontier Airlines would resume commercial air service at the airport for the first time since leaving five years ago. Service will begin on May 14, 2020 with non-stop flights to Orlando three days a week. Introductory fares will be as low as $29 one-way. To see video of the announcement event, CLICK HERE . 
County Exec, Airport Task Force members tour Wilmington Airport
County Executive Matt Meyer joined members of the airport task force on a tour of the airport led by the DRBA. New Castle County must make a determination on the DRBA's future operation of the airport this Spring. DRBA officials showed areas where they've supported construction and expansion and areas where potential growth around the airport can still happen.
True Access Capital launches Community Up! with county support
Through a partnership with NCC Cares, True Access Capital is launching an entrepreneurship workshop at the Route 9 Library. True Access Capital works to build s tronger communities by supporting entrepreneurs in areas that need it most, offering loan programs and specialized technical assistance aimed at revitalizing neighborhoods.
