The Latest from Steve & Janis Battaglia

Our current situations:

• Steve's health: His latest CT Scan was in mid-April and showed "no evidence of disease." We are grateful. If he continues to be cleared, he will be able to have his chemo port removed in August, which will be the post-treatment two-year mark.

• Medical insurance: Following Steve's season of cancer treatments, his health insurance was discontinued and changed to a different plan with a 30% increase in premium cost and less benefits. The Lord has been faithful in providing for the continued medical bills over these past few challenging years.

• Janis' health: Just recently she had to stay a weekend in the local hospital for observation due to an episode of AFib. Test results showed no damage in the heart; she will wear a heart monitor to gather more information.

• Plan for needed additional income: We will soon be stocking and reopening our online Ebay store to, hopefully, provide that needed additional income. It's time to sell most of Steve & Janis' extensive library of books, Steve's many music CD's and vinyl albums from WJYK, his sports memorabilia, and most of the illusions he used in children's ministry. Let us know if you are interested in purchasing the entire "store" inventory.

Thank you for helping us

with gifts, prayer, and encouragement,

especially over the past few years!

Two years ago (May 15, 2022) Steve preached a sermon entitled, "Will I Survive Cancer?"

Only weeks later he was without a job there.

But the Lord was with us. It was a very difficult season of life with chemotherapy, radiation, and uncertainty, but by God's grace he did survive cancer and received a wonderful ministry opportunity.

Note: This is still the most watched sermon he has preached.

Lord willing, we plan to add more sermons to the YouTube channel from the year and half of preaching at New Walk Bible Church.
