City of Worcester needs your inputs
As we trade t-shirts for sweaters, it's easy to forget how hot it was this summer. But that heat has MAJOR health, social and economic consequences, which burden some residents unfairly. The City of Worcester and the EcoTarium need your help! Share your opinions about solutions to Worcester's urban heat islands-- neighborhoods that heat up a LOT because of excessive pavement and lack of tree cover on our website coolitworcester.consider.it. The site will be live through October 31, and the first 50 participants get a $20 gift card! Make an account, learn about heat islands, add pros and cons to proposals, and weigh in with your own thoughts and experiences. Thank you so much for your participation!
