Welcome to our new members and thank you to our existing and lifetime members for your ongoing support of the Skyrail Rainforest Foundation.

We are proud to have been engaged in a wide range of projects focussed on the tropical rainforest for over 10 years, supporting many students achieve their academical goals, ultimately expanding the collective knowledge about this intriguing environment.

Our Public Fund Management Committee is currently discussing the 2019 funding guidelines for students, so keep an eye on the Foundation's website for updates.
Tropical Tree Day
Each year, Planet Ark and Toyota organise Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event: National Tree Day.

Over 1,500 trees were planted in Cairns during the latest Tropical Tree Day thanks to our collaboration with the Cairns Regional Council and Pacific Toyota Cairns.
Master Guides of the
Great Barrier Reef
Our Member Benefit Partner, Passions of Paradise, would like to congratulate their Environmental Sustainability Manager, Russell Hosp who was chosen through an intense panel selection process to join twelve other local ambassadors in the inaugural class of Master Reef Guides.

These guides are the cornerstone of a new program that will bring increased levels of interpretation, knowledge and passion for the Reef ecosystem!
Cassowary Awards Nominations
Inspired by someone’s outstanding contributions to the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area? Nominate them for the 2019 Cassowary Awards!

These annual awards are an opportunity to recognise exceptional efforts by individuals and groups in conserving and presenting the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Nominate by the 18th of March.
