We are often scandalized by stories because they are particular. Oftentimes we want to keep something as an abstraction or we “generalize” things because we think that will help us understand. The story of God in Jesus is scandal to us because it is particular. Stories that matter are particular but we are scandalized by these stories so we don’t tell them.

He survives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded in a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger which raises questions about the nature of reality and how it is perceived and told. Join Pastor Estee for a trip to the Holy Land to tour the most sacred sites in the Bible. This will be our third attempt to take this journey, as the last two trips scheduled in 2020 and 2021 could not happen because of the pandemic. Maybe you remember the trip being advertised last year and the time wasn’t right for you then. If so, here’s another chance to take the trip of a lifetime. We’ll visit Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee and other holy sites. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Estee.
