When Jesus ascends, he tells his disciples “You are witnesses of these things.” Notice, he doesn’t say “you will be witnesses” or “please consider witnessing if you have time.” Witnessing is not voluntary, it’s a state of being.

This summer, KUMC is hosting its first Family Mission Week, and we want you to be a part of it!
A team of leaders, across three different ministry areas, came together to create a five-day mission event for the whole family. Adults, youth and children will all participate in various service projects throughout the Keller community as well as the greater Fort Worth area. Families with students in 6th grade and under will serve together on short-term projects during the day and return to the comfort of home at night. Youth in 7th through 12th grade will stay overnight at KUMC (Sunday-Thursday) for a similar but separate Mission Week experience. Adult volunteers are needed for the youth portion of the event.
We are reaching out to church members for potential projects. If you need garden renovation, home improvement or something similar please fill out this form by June 15. Requests will be reviewed by our leadership team. We will contact you to let you know the status of your application upon consensus of the feasibility of the project.

As we emerge from the COVID shutdown, we find ourselves in the unique position of being able to look at all KUMC ministries with a fresh perspective. The Ministry Council and staff want to take this opportunity to re-imagine how we approach our worship services, as well as programming for children, youth and adults. You will soon receive an invitation to participate in a church-wide survey focused on gaining understanding of your thoughts and feelings on worship, spiritual development and our connections with each other. The results of the survey will be shared with you and used to inform and guide us as we work to discern how God is calling us to the future KUMC. When you get the survey, please add your voice to His calling.

Join Pastor Estee for a trip to the Holy Land to tour the most sacred sites in the Bible. This will be our third attempt to take this journey, as the last two trips scheduled in 2020 and 2021 could not happen because of the pandemic. Maybe you remember the trip being advertised last year and the time wasn’t right for you then. If so, here’s another chance to take the trip of a lifetime. We’ll visit Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee and other holy sites. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Estee.
A caring community for those currently fighting, or who have battled cancer and for those who provide care and support is offered May 10, 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom. All are welcome to attend this monthly gathering. Click here to gain access.
Thanks for the Help!
Very early this past Saturday morning Troops 1910 and 1920 arrived ready to perform a service project for the church. The Scouts, along with our Grounds Ministry team, raked and picked up all the leaves, twigs and branches around the Susanna Wesley House, Scout House, Resource Center and the Hallelujah Trail property from the weather event we had last week. Their act of kindness saved the Facilities team hours of work to make our campus beautiful again. We would like to thank each of you for coming out and showing the care and concern you have for the physical property that makes Keller UMC special.
