Don't Miss Your Next Connection! | | Using Residencies to Train the Next Generation of Ministry Leaders with Young Song of Southwest Church | | It's no secret that the church at large faces a major shortage of qualified pastors and ministry leaders. This affects all areas from the senior/lead role, student and kids ministry, and even prospective church planters. Thankfully, some churches are responding to this trend by creating in-house residency opportunities. Listen to our latest Podcast to learn more. | | EFCA West Regional Catalysts | | Regional Catalysts are pastors who serve to “localize” EFCA West ministry in their respective regions. They add a layer of local presence to continue our efforts to make sure that no pastors or church leaders are left alone. | | Regional Gatherings Near You:
What's the Goal of Conflict Resolution? | There are conflicts in our family of churches. Some are simple, some are more complex, some have been disastrous. But each time I have been asked to intervene within a conflict, I have been asked to help with conflict resolution. But I’m not sure we all mean the same thing by “conflict resolution” – and that’s why it’s something to talk about. | | | | Bringing Academia to the Local Church: The Compass Cohort | | In August 2024, thirty new TEDS students embarked on their journeys to earn graduate certificates. There was one major difference setting them apart from the traditional seminary experience: their campus was their local church, and their classrooms were church offices, living rooms, or anywhere with a computer and internet. TEDS is bringing academic support to the local church in order to equip men and women to effectively serve the church with faithfulness, hope, and love.- Will your church be the next to join us in their mission of engaging in God’s redemptive work in the world? | | Seeds of Life Church Joins Samaritan's Purse: Eaton Fire Mission Trip
Seeds of Life Church in Alhambra CA partnered with Samaritan’s Purse to help Altadena homeowners recover valuables. The team felt blessed to be the hands and feet of Christ to bring homeowners God’s hope and help in Jesus’ name. Homeowners were able to see the body of Christ ministering to them in their time of need. The love of Christ and physical support they experienced comforted and gave them hope.
Samaritan’s Purse has needs for volunteers to complete all their order requests. If your church would like to send a group please visit their website: SamaritansPurse.org
