We have 11 lead pastors & our district superintendent Tim Jacobs running the RAGNAR Relay! They've started to meet online and train for this event. However, we need more than just runners - we need church vans, drivers and volunteers to help out with all aspects of the race, which will be an adventure in itself! Interested? Child Protection in California: AB506
November 15 | 10am-12pm
| Church HR Network and ECAP (Evangelical Council For Abuse Prevention) are partnering together in order to equip child-youth serving organizations in California to be aware of this legislation and to help establish systems and processes that help meet compliance. This introductory level workshop is designed to teach participants the basics of child protection and AB506. Following the workshop, you will be connected to additional resources and support for developing an effective and compliant child protection plan. | |

Prepared is a gospel-centered, affordable, accessible and systematic two-year equipping program for women in ministry leadership or preparing to serve in ministry leadership, locally or globally.

You’re Invited: Missions Leaders Gathering in January!
This annual event is for pastors, church staff or volunteers who provide leadership to missions in their church. Connect with others navigating the same decisions you face with missions strategy, funding, promotion, church involvement and volunteer management. The presentations spark great conversation and the interaction with other leaders will sharpen the missions leadership you bring to your EFCA church. Feel free to bring key team members or volunteer leaders along with you! Meals throughout the event are covered by the EFCA while travel and lodging are the responsibility of each participant.
Starts January 8 at 11:30AM and runs through noon on January 10.

2024 EFCA Theology Conference - Feb 7-9, 2024 | The EFCA Theology Conference exists to intentionally encourage and equip EFCA pastors and leaders in their personal lives and in their ministries in the local church through biblical and theological education for the sake of the gospel. EFCA and Training Leaders International
The partnership between EFCA West and Training Leaders International provided a great way to train around 200 pastors and leaders within our Hispanic area congregations from Los Angeles and Phoenix (including Mexicali, Baja California).

Immigrant Hope Santa Barbara - Fundraiser - Nov. 3
It was a great evening of celebrating what is God doing in the immigrant population on the California central coast. 100 people from all different churches and organizations attended. Sarah Douglas (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) brought awareness of the increasing number of victims of domestic violence especially in the immigrant community. Also, one of their clients gave her testimony on being a victim of many violent situations in her life and how IHSB brought not only legal solutions but eternal life in Jesus.
