Extension Welcomes New FCS Educator

Deon Littles will be serving as the new Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) Extension Agent Associate for Charles and Prince George's Counties. Her area of concentration is in Financial Wellness.


Deon joins the University of Maryland Extension family after working as an FCS teacher and department chair in Prince George's County Public Schools.


During her years of service in education, she taught across the state as well as internationally. She has led various courses at the secondary level in Child Development, Teen Living, ProStart, Culinary, International Cuisine and Food Preparation classes.

Deon is committed to the FCS profession and her willingness to take on new and challenging opportunities is next level.


Her credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, FCS teacher certification, school administrator license and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.


Currently, Deon is enrolled as a doctoral candidate at Liberty University.
