Request for Labor Market Data to Support

New Bachelor’s Degree Program

One of the key components of California Community College Chancellor’s Office Vision 2030 is the expansion of bachelor's degree programs to meet the state's workforce demands and provide more affordable, accessible four-year degree options for students.



The next deadline to apply for a bachelor’s degree program is August 15, 2026. One of the application requirements is to include a Labor Market Assessment (LMA). To Ensure adequate preparation and timely submission of the report to Bay Area Community College Consortium (BACCC), please allow the COE a minimum of three months to complete the LMA. Therefore, you must submit the request to the COE no later than March 20, 2026 through the LMI request form


Key dates for the submission process:


  • Deadline to submit LMI request formMarch 20, 2026
  • LMA report completed by: June 19, 2026
  • Deadline to submit to BACCC for approval: June 19, 2026
  • BACCC approval received by: July 16, 2026
  • Application deadline: August 15, 2026

Webinars to Support Preparation for Comprehensive Local Needs Assessments (CLNA)

Each community college district must certify and submit its 2026-27 Perkins local application and CLNA via the NOVA system by May 29, 2026. To support colleges and districts with this process, the Bay Region Center of Excellence (COE) will offer three webinars. The Bay Area Community College Consortium (BACCC) also offers an in-progress resource guide to help you complete the CLNA. Please help share this information by forwarding this newsletter.

How to Use Core Indicator Data for the CLNA

This session will be hosted in partnership with the California Community College Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) and will focus on using Core Indicator data to inform CLNAs.

Labor Market Information (LMI) Reports: Demand, Supply, and Wages


Date: February 6, 2026 (Friday)

Time: 11:00 a.m.



This session will build understanding of how to use labor market information reports to understand demand, supply, and wages.

Leveraging Dashboards to Support CLNA Development


Date: February 11, 2026 (Wednesday)

Time: 11:00 a.m.


This session will demonstrate how to use the Demand and Supply Dashboard and the Student Enrollment and Success Dashboard to support the development of CLNAs.
