Support announced for creative sector
A new programme has been launched by  Sunderland Culture  in a bid to support the creative sector in Sunderland as a direct response to a survey conducted by the organisation in April.
£10,000 cash boost to help families in crisis
A Sunderland counselling service has been awarded a £10,000 cash boost from the National Lottery Awards for All scheme to help families who have been hit hard by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Businesses back recovery task force
Set up by Sunderland BID, the Recovery Task Force made an appeal for companies from all sectors to join together and help respond to the current issues being faced. More than 20 businesses responded.
