The team at Skyrail was very excited to recently welcome celebrity ‘Iron Chef’ Hiroyuki Sakai to the rainforest.
Iron Chef Sakai was the longest-serving Iron Chef (French) on the Japanese television show, Iron Chef.

His TV trademark was a red French chef's outfit complete with prominent toque (chef’s hat).

Cairns 2018 ECOFiesta
The Cairns 2018 ECOFiesta was again a great success, focusing on sustainable living and a greener future. This year was extra special with the Wet Tropics Management Authority celebrating thirty years of World Heritage listing for the Wet Tropics!

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and Skyrail Rainforest Foundation were both present and ran a prize draw, with several round trip family Skyrail experiences for the lucky winners.
Skyrail Nature Diary
If you have a keen eye, you may be lucky enough to spot a green ant nest perched high in the upper branches of canopy trees.

The nests represent a secret and complex world, including daily threats and unlikely inter-species partnerships.
