Howdy and welcome to November!
The BCDC vision continues to become reality here on the RELLIS campus as we’ve moved from the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) to the Research Integration Center (RIC)--an incredible accomplishment as it took less than two-years from concept to completion; construction is underway for the Ballistic, Aero-optic and Materials (BAM) test range and the Innovation Proving Ground (IPG); and the U.S. Army recently transitioned from the original $65 million Cooperative Agreement signed in 2019 to a new 5-year, up to $96.2 million indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for continued modernization research efforts. We continue to meet with potential partners from academia, industry and government (both Federal and Texas)---the question is where might you fit in the vision for BCDC? Check out our latest updates and let me know if you, or someone else, would like to be added to our distribution list or schedule a visit.
Thank you & Gig ‘em---
