Howdy and Happy New Year!

2022 is already here and momentum from ongoing construction and visits from government and industry continue to keep the BCDC team hard at work. In this issue, we're taking the time to highlight a few key events from 2021 as well as provide you with a snapshot of things moving into the future. Of particular note, construction of both the Innovation Proving Ground (photo of construction at the Maneuver Challenge Course is above) and the Ballistic Aero-Optic and Materials test range (photo further below, next to upcoming events) remains on schedule for completion in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 respectively. Research is ongoing in the Research Integration Center (RIC), and the tools for our lab spaces continue to flow in. We have hosted numerous industry and government visits since moving into the RIC in August, and anticipate more visits as our facilities move closer to completion this next year. The question remains on where do you see yourself in joining our history? If you are interested in being a part of it, reach out and let us know so we can arrange a visit.

Thank you & Gig ‘em---

Congratulations to Brad Brown!
Our own Brad Brown has been hand-selected to serve as President Banks' chief of staff as of Jan. 3rd. His selection is no surprise to us due to his leadership, vision and drive to get things done. He was with BCDC before it was called BCDC, and his contributions to the team's success truly made a difference! While we will miss him here, we wish him the best with his new duties and responsibilities at the Office of the President.
