ACCE Workshop to Focus on Noncredit Courses
Want to learn more about noncredit course approval and noncredit in general? Sign up for the Fall 2019 Drive-In Workshop on Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Mt. San Antonio College. It is hosted by the Association of Community and Continuing Education (ACCE).

Urban Institute: 67% of People Not Digitally Literate - and More on the Digital Skills Gap
The Urban Institute has created an infographic (shown above) that illustrates the digital skills gap among workers. According to the institute, over half the U.S. population lacks the foundational digital skills needed for most occupations today, and digital literacy rates are lower for people who have less education or who are black and Hispanic, older or foreign-born.

Call for Photos! Show Us Your Programs in Action to Showcase at CAEP Summit 2019

The CAEP Summit 2019 is right around the corner (Oct. 29-30)! To showcase the wonderful adult education programs across the state, we are requesting each consortium submit at least one photo, or up to one photo per agency, of an adult education program in action. Photos can be submitted in .png or .jpeg file formats to  tap@caladulted.org .

The photos will be shown during the large convenings at the Summit.
