Governor's Executive Order 2020-42
Extends Stay Home, Stay Safe
to April 30, 2020
The City of Lathrup Village Administration Offices will remain closed to the public until April 30, 2020, in compliance with the Governor's Executive Order.
Under
the Governor's new order 2020-42
, ALL public and private gatherings among persons outside a single household remain TEMPORARILY PROHIBITED through April 30, 2020, AND are subject to a fine of up to $1,000.
Though Michiganders may leave the house to get groceries or needed supplies, the new order encourages people to limit the number of household members running errands to the maximum extent possible.
As before, people may engage in outdoor activities like walking, hiking, running, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, or any other recreational activity, consistent with remaining at least six feet from people from outside a person’s household. Playgrounds remain closed.

Lathrup Village Police Dept.
We want our residents and business owners to be reassured that the LVPD continues to be vigilant in our patrol of the residential and business district of the City. Especially, since many businesses are temporarily closed, officers are actively patrolling all areas.
We take great pride in providing professional services for our community at all times.
This is also a good time for all residents and businesses to be reminded to submit their Alarm registration forms and confirm that your contact information is current. This will greatly assist us in contacting you, should there be an emergency.

LATHRUP VILLAGE POLICE DEPT.
ALARM REGISTRATION
|
|
|
The Lathrup Village Police Department is requesting all residents and business owners that have a burglary or fire alarm not currently registered with the City, to turn in a registration form.
It is important that all residents and business owners are aware of that this is a requirement under Article II, Chapter 26 of the Municipal Code.
The cost of registering your alarm is only $20 for three (3) years. The information you provide could be vitally important in an emergency situation, if you aren’t at your home or business, and we need to reach you or your emergency contact.
