Street Improvement Bond Millage
The Infrastructure Study Group has recommended a proposal to improve 7.1 miles of city residential streets over 3 years, starting in Spring 2021.

The $5.85 million project would be paid for by the issuance of a bond that residents and businesses would pay back over 10 years with an average millage rate of 3.9176 mills.

The proposal appears on the November 3, 2020 ballot for Lathrup Village residents. The cost to the average homeowner would average $263 per year.

To help educate residents on the facts surrounding this this proposal, the City has created an informational website:

The site also has an interactive street map that will easily allow you to determine your annual cost, based upon the current taxable value of your home, should the proposal be approved by the residents.

Informational Town Hall Meetings will be announced soon.
Join us in congratulating Lathrup Village's City Administrator -. Dr. Sheryl Mitchell. She was presented with a 2020 Community Builder Award, in recognition of leadership and passion for community development by the Michigan Municipal League.

Congratulations
to Sheryl!
