Larry Taunton has engaged some of the most vociferous critics of the Christian faith, from Peter Singer to Richard Dawkins. He is the author of The Grace Effect (Thomas Nelson Publishers, October 2011). Inspired by the possibility of reaching millions of people with the Gospel's message of hope, Larry created LookUp316.com. A frequent guest on a variety of television and radio shows, he has also been quoted by The New York Times, USA Today, The Daily Mail, Atlantic, Vanity Fair, among many others. Although he is known to debate atheists like his friend Christopher Hitchens, Larry reserves most of his energy for debating the relative merits of Alabama and Auburn football with his colleague, Mike Murphy. Larry and his wife, Lauri, live in Birmingham with their three boys and a daughter recently adopted from Ukraine.
