Williston Economic Development has announced it will celebrate Economic Development Week May 4-8! Save the date for the Open House on Monday, API Meeting on Tuesday, 1 Million Cups, Financial Summit and Williston Square Public Meeting on Wednesday, the Deal Makers Conference, State of the City Address and Business After Hours on Thursday and Awards Banquet on Friday!
Latin Restaurant opens in Williston
KUMV-TV -  Anies Authentic Latin Food opened recently in the Downtown Plaza, bringing traditional Central American cuisine to Williston. Owner George Sanchez grew up in Honduras and moved to the Bakken to work in the oil industry six years ago. Read More
New Bakery opens in Sidney
Round up - Rian Nelson has opened Big Sky Bakery and Coffeehouse at 110 N. Central Ave., in front of the Magic Mirror building,  Sidney . She will be open 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls, scones, biscuits & gravy, bagels, scramblers, muffins, breakfast burritos and sandwiches will be availble. Everything is homemade. Read More
NDDOT to widen US Highway 85 from Watford City to Long X Bridge
New s Release -  The North Dakota Department of Transportation is expanding U.S. Highway 85 to a four-lane highway from Watford City to the Long X Bridge over the Little Missouri River. Read More

MineralTracker lands North Dakota Contract
McKenzie County Farmer - Since it was formed in 2017 by Jeff Kummer and Joel Brown, Watford City - based MineralTracker has been a highly successful company that has developed a priority software that allows mineral owners in the Bakken to organize, audit, and track royalty income for their mineral interests. CVB unveils New Slogan; honors Award Winners
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) held its annual meeting and appreciation luncheon on Tuesday, February 18 at the Williston Area Recreation Center. The CVB recognized highlights from the 2019 tourism season, gave a preview of 2020 and paid tribute to tourism leaders. The CVB also debuted a new marketing slogan and its new 2020 Visitor’s Guide. “We sought a new message that was more appealing to local residents,” explained Amy Krueger, CVB executive director.
Watford City Students tout Hometown

Support local entrepreneurs by attending the one-hour meeting at 8:30 a.m. at place the Williston Community Library. The presentation will feature Dakota Business Lending and Roughneck Coffee. Complimentary coffee will be provided by Roughneck Coffee. 

03/10 ------ Williston City Commission
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Williams County Administration Building.

The 35th annual event will be held at the Raymond Family Community Center. Check out the newest models of boats, RVs, ATVs, grills, outdoor furniture and much more!

03/25 ------ NWND Semi-Annual Job Fair
The 2020 Spring Job Fair will be held at the Raymond Family Community Center.

03/31 ------ Lunch and Learn with Women’s Health Department
The seminar will feature new midwives and other health care professionals. The meeting will be held from 12-1 p.m. at the Williston ARC meeting room 1. RSVP by calling 701.774.7444.

04/01 ------ 1 Million Cups
Support local entrepreneurs by attending the one-hour meeting at 8:30 a.m. at place TBD. The presentations will feature Cooks on Main and US Census. Complimentary coffee will be provided by Cooks on Main. 

04/23 ------ Art & Wine Walk
The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. in Downtown Williston. Sponsored by the Williston Downtowners Association.

05/04-08 ------ Economic Development Week
Join us as we celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs.

05/07 ------ State of the City Address
The public is invited to the meeting and free luncheon from 12-1 p.m. at the Grand Williston Hotel.

06/19 ------ Chamber of Commerce's Rockin' Ribfest

06/20 ------ Chamber of Commerce's Lemonade Day
Youth will set up lemonade stands across Williston.
