Small Business Association Disaster Declaration Makes Loans Available Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

  • The SBA has already secured $18 billion towards disaster loan efforts.
  • These loans can go towards working capital to meet needs including payroll, accounts payable, and fixed debt payment that can't be paid due to COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The loans have long-term repayment options, up to a maximum of 30 years.
  • The current interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses. The non-profit rate is 2.75%.
  • No cost to apply, no obligation to take loan if offered
  • Do not go through a bank to apply, go directly to disasterloan/sba.gov
