Get to know these mission driven non-profits while enjoying the delicious Caribbean Cuisine and Vegetarian & Vegan Vietnamese Specialties of  Pearl Island and   Vu Noodles N ow serving lunch *every* weekday from 11:00AM - 2:00PM.

Saturday, June 24th at 8PM the Jefferson School African-American Heritage Center will host a Ladies Night Out Comedy Show. Come out and enjoy comedian Ayanna Dookie. Listen to her here: Ayanna Dookie Comedy.

The Trailblazer program is a partnership between City of Promise and the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. Students selected to become Trailblazers will be museum guides for tours of the Jefferson School's historical and contemporary exhibitions this summer.   Support your Trailblazers and attend a free, public tour.

You don't want to miss this fun and energetic dancing and drumming class! On Wednesday, June 28th the West African Dance course will be held at the Chihamba Studio inside McGuffey Art Center, 201 2nd St NW. The class starts at 5:45PM - 7PM.
