Multi Media Presentation:
"The First Landing of Humans on the Moon"
Tuesday, July 30 at 6:00 pm

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, Space Program Historian Joe Lennox will explain the amazing details of Apollo 11. Information includes the sights and sounds of the first moon landing, highly detailed scaled models, actual spacecraft hardware, authentic flight documentation, and a medallion containing metal that actually went to the moon on this historic mission.

This program is geared for adults and children in 4th grade and older.
Adult Yoga Class
Wednesday, July 24 at 6:30 pm

Enjoy a fun and relaxing Yoga class with instructor Aleksandra Mufceska. Learn basic yoga poses as well as meditative techniques that promote mindfulness and acceptance. Yoga poses build muscle, strength, balance and poise while meditation increases self-awareness. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or large towel. Class is limited to West Caldwell residents and Paid Card members.
"A Grand Tour of the Solar System
and Beyond"

Award-winning astronomer and educator Kevin Manning will take you on a virtual journey visiting the Sun, planets, their moons, and debris left over from the earliest times of the solar system's formation. A detailed look at of the elusive and controversial planet Pluto will also be included. Following the program, participants will go to Crane Park to view the rings of Saturn, craters on the Moon, etc. through a powerful hand-crafted telescope.

This program is geared for adults and children age 8 and older.

"Music Takes You Out of this World"

Touch the Music owner & Music educator Claudia Lemmerz will perform songs about the sun, moon and stars for children ages 3-8. She will also explore the planets through music. And of course hands-on instrument music making will be part of it.
