LAUNCHING BIG DAY OF GIVING 2019!
Dear Big Day of Giving friends:

Today, we are launching the registration process for the capital area's sixth Big Day of Giving, which will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019, from midnight to midnight.

Technically, this is the seventh "giving day" that our team at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation has led. When we started with Arts Day of Giving in 2013, we felt like we were visiting Mars: we had no idea what we would discover! And now, just a handful of years later, we have all worked together to generate more than $30 million in unrestricted funds. Even more, we have built meaningful relationships with so many amazing area nonprofits that are ending hunger, enriching lives through the arts, saving animals, helping seniors navigate their golden years, and much more!

As we launch Big Day of Giving 2019 today, we'd like to introduce you to the two newest faces of the Big Day of Giving team, Lovelle and Monica, who are already helping foster the program's future success! Please scroll down to meet them—and while you're scrolling, please review the registration requirements for BDOG2019 participation, sign up to attend an upcoming orientation, and check out our handy calendar that can help you plan your Big Day of Giving campaign!

It goes without saying, but we are incredibly humbled by your inspiring work. Year after year, you make Big Day of Giving successful, heartwarming, and fun—so here's to another remarkable one!
