Let's spread joy and hope this holiday season!
We're excited to kick off our 2020 Holiday Program and partner with you to provide survivors with gifts and essentials this winter! The past year has been especially difficult for families in our programs, and we need your help to brighten the season for more than 375 survivors - including over 250 children.

While our Holiday Program will look different to protect everyone's health and safety (please keep reading below to learn more), your support is more crucial than ever. We hope you will get involved again, and help spread joy and hope!

Please sign up below to receive everything you need to get started as a donor or donation drive coordinator.
Even if you've participated in the past, please sign up above so we can share critical updates about this year's program, items we're able to accept, TBA Donation Drop-off event details, safety-related adjustments, and more.
What's different this year?
Because of COVID-19, we sadly aren’t able to safely offer our annual holiday “store” – where families have historically picked out toys and gifts themselves.

However, we've worked closely with our staff and participants to find the best alternative option, and are going to instead provide Fred Meyer and VISA gift cards to families, in lieu of actual gifts! This maintains the heart of our program, which has always centered empowering survivors to pick out the presents that are perfect for themselves and their children. Gift cards will be delivered to survivors' homes December 11-17 by our team of advocates.

Unfortunately, because of safety concerns, we won't have group volunteer opportunities. All of us at Raphael House will really miss working alongside many of you in December! But we hope you'll still get involved in supporting families as a donor, drive coordinator, or by sharing widely with your network.
What's the same?
* All gift cards and items are donated, so your help is crucial as always!

* We're collecting some vital items and supplies, which will be distributed to families safely in the new year. Sign up to receive our list of needs.

* We'll still have limited Donation Drop-off events in December, but these will be outdoors and have strict social distancing requirements. Please scroll down for details, and sign up so we can coordinate.

* We're raising critical funds, and have an exciting match opportunity that means your contributions have even greater impact!

* We have Giving Trees for donation drives like before, but instead of physical ornaments, they're now online! Check out the video below for a preview of the custom page we can provide your group.

Help make the season bright for survivors!
1) Collect what we need most for adults, teens, and children in our programs:

  • $25 Fred Meyer and VISA gift cards, so that that families can pick out holiday gifts.

  • Critical items and hygiene essentials, to be distributed safely to survivors in the new year.

2) Encourage monetary gifts
While we absolutely need supplies, contributions fund our vital programs that help survivors year-round.

We have many tools to support you, including Virtual Giving Trees, Amazon or Target wish lists, digital promotion materials, and more!
Donation Drop-off events
Details for our Donation Drop-off events are still being confirmed, but these are tentatively scheduled for December 9, 10, and 17. All will be held outdoors and with strict safety protocols.

Important note: to promote social distancing, Drive coordinators will need to schedule appointments to deliver during these events.

Also, the majority of gift cards will be distributed to families starting December 11, so please try and provide these by the 10th.

Sign up so we can coordinate and provide updates once info is finalized.
Thanks from all of us at Raphael House! We look forward to working together to support survivors this holiday season.
