Get creative with an "orphan" chair
Works by Bonnie Bernardi and granddaughters, 2020
We need your artistic vision!
Chairs 4 Change is coming up on June 17th and we're looking for local artists/crafters/artisans to turn an "orphan" chair into a work of art. We'll auction them off to benefit both Habitat McLean County and Recycling Furniture for Families.

Request a free chair from the ReStore (1402 W Washington, Blm, Tue-Sat 10a-6p) or Recycling Furniture for Families (call 309-829-6500 for an appointment). Decorate or embellish anyway you like.
On Friday, June 17, 2022, we'll hold a live chair auction at The Hangar Art Co, the elegant new gallery at 105 W Jefferson Street in downtown Bloomington. Online bidding will be available as well as in-person.

Your entry includes nibbles and liquid refreshment. Event tickets on sale soon!

Already have a finished chair? Download the artist submission form here. Finished works go to Recycling Furniture for Families. Please call to arrange a time for drop-off: 309-829-6500

2022 House Builds
This spring we're finishing up the houses we started in 2021 and are ready to jump right in to the 2022 houses starting in May or early June,

Building costs are still through the roof, so please consider making a donation to support the Women Build house, the Heroes of Habitat house, or the Faith house.
Or come build with us! Learn more about volunteering here. More questions about volunteering? Email volunteer coordinator Lindsey Jarboe.
This week's special
Exciting things are happening at the ReStore. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in, is that we've rearranged. Never fear, everything is still there - it just might be in a different place.

Gives you the chance to rediscover all the treasure all over again. Don't hesitate to ask the staff for directions to your favorite section.
