Thank you to everyone who made a donation as part of our end-of-year giving campaign—and to
all of you
who gave your time, talent, and treasure in 2019.
Our fall semester was full of exciting growth. We re-established clubs at Mother Caroline Academy in Dorchester and welcomed 3 new sites:
O'Neill Public Library Branch in Cambridge, East Somerville Community School, and the Elizabeth Peabody House in Somerville
. We recruited a record number of mentors (45%) with racial identities underrepresented in STEM, low-income backgrounds, or who are first in their family to go to college.
This school year, SCFG will provide over 5,200 hours of engaging STEM programming, leadership opportunities, and mentorship to more than 250 girls in grades K - 12. You make this possible!
We're so excited to kick off our Spring semester in just a couple weeks, and we couldn't do it without our mentors, supporters, board, and of course, YOU!
