Yo2/23: Administrative Hearings, Nuts & Bolts

Join Hon. Judges Heather Rowen and Sean Gavin for the first of a four-part program designed to walk attorneys and litigants through the process and strategies to handle an administrative hearing.


Our panel of Administrative Law Judges will share their views of best practices for preparing and presenting a case before the Office of Administrative Hearings.


This webinar, Part 2, will provide an introduction to the Office of Administrative Hearings and an overview of general administrative law concepts, including: what laws apply, what is a proposed decision, due process, and burden of proof.



Parts 3 (3/22), and 4 (4/26) will cover the prehearing, hearing, and post-hearing processes. A recording of Part 1 (procedural overview) is available in our on-demand MCLE catalog.

The Self-Help @ the Law Library (SH@LL) updated its services in coordination with other Self-Help resources in Sacramento, such as Civil Self Help, Small Claims & Unlawful Detainer Advisory Clinic, and the Family Law Facilitator's Office.


SH@LL provides general legal information and basic legal assistance with a range of issues to those who do not have a lawyer and who either in Sacramento County or have a qualifying case in Sacramento Superior Court.
