Constitution Day


"Constitution Day commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787 by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia." Read and listen to more from the American Bar Association here.


The library will participate in the Federal Bar Association's Constitution Day celebration at the Eastern District of California Federal Courthouse.


Our library renovation is now complete! We have returned to our regular hours:


The library is closed on September 2, 2024 for Labor Day and

on September 27, 2024 for Native American Day.


The library is otherwise open to the public Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Housing & Economic Rights Advocates are providing free, topic-based webinars where members of the public may ask their legal questions on topics such as landlord/tenant law, consumer protection, estate planning, credit/debt issues, remedies for domestic violence, and more!
