GOOD THINGS COME!
SB77 was introduced by Senator Sam Givhan in January this year. He has been very attentive each and every time I have brought the issue of State-purchased imported flags to his attention for many years now. He put together the Bill and defended it.
SB77 passed the Senate with only 2 Senators (Jim McClendon - R and Bobby Singleton - D) voting against.
Representative Mike Ball has also been very attentive when I brought the issue before him as well. He carried the Bill in Committee in the House and on the House floor. It passed unanimously in the House.
Governor Kay Ivey signed the Bill into LAW yesterday!
...and that, my friends, is how a Bill becomes a Law!
Never think you are not big enough to bring about a change when you have Congress members who take the time to hear you and consider your concerns.
Good things come when you are represented well! I certainly am!
