Does Your Law Life Need a Treehouse?
by Jay Reeves

If only law school taught us how to build treehouses, I think we'd be better - and considerably happier - lawyers.
Instead we emerge with our temporal lobes crammed with answers to questions rarely asked, and our essential need for joy and play set aside in service to Having a Career.

Proxies for Lawyers Mutual's 2019 annual meeting were emailed to insureds on April 5th.
Please return your proxy to us no later than May 7th.
If you have any questions regarding your proxy, contact Darlene Harden at [email protected] or 800.662.8843.
Interview with Leigh Wicclair, NC Pro Bono Center

These suspensions constitute about 15% of all adult drivers in the state. The NC Pro Bono Resource Center, the NC Justice Center and the Durham Expunction and Restoration (DEAR) Project are currently seeking Pro Bono Attorney Volunteers to assist with the Driver's License Restoration Project in counties across North Carolina.

Cybersecurity begins with a strong password. Cyber criminals know and exploit bad password habits as they are often one of the weakest links in data security schemes. For this reason, it is critical that all lawyers and staff in a law office use passwords properly.
Improve your passwords by implementing good password procedures. Our password security tips can help.
