The Pumpkin Pie That Changed a Law Life

If I hadn't seen with my own eyes how a single slice of pumpkin pie can transform a law life from despair to joy, I might not have believed it.
Yet I did see it. And though it might be oversimplifying things to give the pie full credit, it probably isn't.

The fraud involved a vacant residential lot which was completely unimproved to the point of not even having a mailbox.  The owners were listed in the tax records as having a Florida mailing address, and a quick google search revealed they were an elderly couple.
