Cheers to Social Hour: Dupont History
Last night DCCA Members convened online for an informative and interesting video social hour.

The member-only event featured a special presentation from DCCA member and Dupont resident, Marc Langston, to share some of the history he has compiled for his YouTube channel (" The History Hat ") which began its first season by showcasing Dupont's rich history. Marc's genuine interest and passion about local history is infectious!

The free flowing conversation that followed his presentation touched on Dupont's buildings, artists, authors, and political activists. We are sharing just a few highlights of the slides Marc presented click here .

Many thanks to Marc and to the members that joined in - DCCA is pleased to be facilitating (and participating) in these new ways to connect during this challenging time.

Keep an eye out for an invitation to future social hours for members!

Viral Arts Project (pun intended?)
The Washingtonian has a piece on the Viral Art Project , an art gallery that invites graphic designers and artists to submit original poster designs that respond visually to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The results so far have been striking—an ever-growing collection of posters that demonstrate how powerful typography and graphic design can be.
