Submit a proposal to facilitate a session at the 2020 Personalized Learning Conference! WHAT IS THE PERSONALIZED LEARNING CONFERENCE? A three-day conference that will offer staff the opportunity to engage in personalized learning aligned to district initiatives and goals, including Differentiation and Mastery, Equity, and Student Agency. WHEN : Monday - Wednesday, August 3-5, 2020 LOCATION TBD

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: March 9, 2020 NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE: March 27, 2020 This year's conference will feature expo-style modeling and application showcases or 40-, 60-, or 90-minute sessions that are aligned to district goals:  Differentiation and Mastery- How do we design and co-construct student learning goals and tailor classroom experiences to ensure student success? Equity- How do we utilize culturally proficient and inclusive teaching practices to reduce the predictability of student outcomes? Student Agency- How do we release control and create opportunities for student voice, choice, and creativity? Austin ISD presenters will receive Exchange Day credit for presenting at and attending the conference.

The 2020 Personalized Learning Conference is offered as part of AISD EDU , a collaborative venture of AISD Professional Learning, Technology Integration, Academics and SEL, & School Leadership. AISD EDU offers personalized learning for teachers and staff throughout the year. AISD supports the intentional use of instructional methods designed to increase equity.
