Executive Director Diana Hill represented Pathways to Independence as a finalist for the Impact Giving awards and connected with fellow Network leaders Bonni Pomosh, CEO of Working Wardrobes and Lucy Santana, CEO of Girls Inc. of Orange County to strengthen community partnerships. Pathways has been recognized as an Impact Giving Award finalist for four consecutive years and previously received a grant in 2022.

Pathways also led the Orange County Community Foundation’s “Love Is” Giving Day campaign for the second year in a row, raising $52,975 in just 36 hours from 114 donors, supported by three matching grants. Hill credited the community’s generosity and and dedication to Development Director Lisa Mais.



Diana participated in the 2023 Executive Learning Group and was coached in the 2024 Executive Coaching Program.

The Multi-Ethnic Collaborative of Community Agencies recently represented its collaborative, which serves Orange County’s diverse communities, at national conferences across the country, sharing MECCA’s work in housing, aging, behavioral health, and community-driven systems change. Over the past several months, MECCA participated in the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s 2026 Housing Policy Forum in Washington, D.C., the American Society on Aging’s On Aging conference in Atlanta, Georgia, and NatCon 2026 in Denver, Colorado. 

CEO Yesenia Ochoa participated in the 2023 Executive Learning Group; Chief Program Officer Rhiannon Doscher participated in the 2023 Senior Management Learning Group; Director of Health Programs Paige Medina participated in the 2023 Senior Management Learning Group; and Communications and Development Manager Matt Haines participated in the 2026 Senior Management Learning Group.

The Wellness & Prevention Center received the Contract Provider Agency Award at the Mental Health Awareness Night, with Founder and Executive Director Susan Parmelee accepting the honor on behalf of the organization.

In addition, Representative Mike Levin named Susan his March 2026 Constituent of the Month, recognizing her leadership providing mental health prevention and intervention services for youth ages 12–25 and their families.

Affordable Housing Clearinghouse celebrated its 35th Anniversary Gala at The Hacienda, bringing together partners, supporters, and community leaders to recognize 35 years of advancing affordable housing and financial empowerment. Since 1991, AHC supported affordable housing, homeownership education, and financial stability services for communities in Southern California.

As a milestone celebration held every five years, the gala reflected AHC’s progress while reaffirming its commitment to expanding housing opportunities and supporting communities through continued partnership.

Executive Director Brenda Rodriguez participated in the 2015 and 2022 Executive Learning Groups was coached in the 2017 Executive Coaching Program; and is a Creative Encounters by Fieldstone Facilitator.

Carrie Logue has joined Covenant Philanthropic Solutions as a Senior Consultant. For the past 13 years, Carrie served as Executive Director of the Los Alamitos Education Foundation, where she transformed the organization through exceptional leadership and fundraising. Under her guidance, annual fundraising grew 10x and she built a strong, strategic Board of Directors while developing a sustainable major gifts program that continues to support students and teachers across the district.

With 22 years of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, Carrie will bring deep expertise in major gift fundraising, board development, program growth, strategic planning, and, most importantly, the ability to connect people with mission in meaningful ways to her work at Covenant.

Carrie participated in the 2019 Executive Learning Group.

Rickie Redman of Laguna Beach Seniors at the Susi Q is dedicated to honoring aging and end-of-life experiences through education, art, compassionate listening, and personalized care. To encourage open conversations about death and grief, Rickie co-founded the Orange County Deathworkers Alliance, which co-hosted a Death Over Drafts event on June 4. The gathering attracted more than 50 attendees and was featured in the Daily Pilot.

211OC, a key service of Orange County United Way, was honored as Community Partner of the Year at the Public Law Center annual awards event. The recognition highlights their collaborative work to connect Orange County residents with critical resources, services, and support.

Elizabeth Andrade, Executive Director of 211 OC, participated in the 2015 Senior Management Learning Group and was coached in the 2022 Executive Coaching Program. 

At the Women’s Philanthropy Fund Breakfast, Taylor Montano, Director, Operations-United for Financial Security at Orange County United Way, and her team, created and facilitated a “Paycheck to Paycheck” immersive experience that helped nearly 700 attendees better understand the financial challenges many local families face. The interactive activity encouraged empathy, increased awareness of financial insecurity and systemic barriers, and inspired action toward meaningful solutions. Paired with a keynote by Stephanie Land, the event sparked thoughtful reflection and conversation about economic hardship in the community.

Taylor participated in the 2021 Senior Management Learning Group and was a member of the 2021 and 2022 Leadership Reading Groups.

After eight years as Director of Programming at Irvine Barclay Theatre, Michelle Brouwer is moving to New Haven, CT, to pursue an MFA in Theater Management at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale.We wish Michelle an exciting journey and a bright future!

Nearly 100 supporters gathered at Old Ranch Country Club for the inaugural The Nest Breakfast, raising $38,500 for Robyne's Nest. The highlight: a candid on-stage conversation between Executive Director Natalie Moser and program graduate Julia Paulus, now pursuing her LCSW, who shared how Robyne's Nest helped her see "a future she couldn't yet see for herself."

Natalie is a current participant of the 2026 Executive Learning Group.

New Directions for Women raised $225,000 at its 18th annual Circle of Life Brunch with 260 guests attending the event. The organization was established to address the lack of affordable and accessible rehabilitation services for women struggling with alcoholism and addiction and provides gender-specific, family-centered addiction treatment services. Programs focus on helping women overcome substance use disorders, promoting healthy parenting, preventing domestic violence, and supporting family reunification.

Heather Black-Coyne, Executive Director, is a current participant of the 2026 Executive Learning Group.
