Workplace platform provider Envoy has published its latest report on workplace trends, Without Accurate Data, the Workplace Won’t Survive. The survey, which polled over 1,100 company executives and workplace managers across five industries, explores how the two groups of leaders use workplace data to make smarter, more informed decisions.
Whether hybrid or fully onsite, companies worldwide are struggling to confidently report what’s happening in their workplaces without accurate, easy-to-use data. 52% of executives admit to not being able to make a critical workplace decision because they lacked the necessary data to assess operational and real estate needs. 80% confess that they would have approached the return-to-office (RTO) differently with access to accurate data. Despite the challenge of optimizing data, both groups agree that workplace analytics is critical to the survival of their workplaces. The majority are investing more in data intelligence to predict future needs, boost operational efficiency and stay compliant.

• 83% of respondents agree on importance of a “comprehensive ESG strategy”
• Almost a quarter recognize the necessity for more investment in ESG resources
• Three-quarters will fill the ESG gap by training employees to improve their expertise
A new report published by ESG data intelligence provider Deepki highlights the efforts from commercial real estate (CRE) managers to better understand the energy performance of their portfolios and the potential impact of poor sustainability on investments, allowing them to take measures to mitigate risk. The study is based on research with 250 European CRE asset managers in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
The research identifies an environmental, social and governance (ESG) expertise gap in CRE asset management. While the majority (80%) of respondents recognize the importance of a “comprehensive ESG strategy” in managing financial risk in their organizations, one fifth (21%) say their organization lacks the expertise to assess the ESG performance of their assets and take them to net zero.
