From what we see, most employers maintain a clearly-stated "no tolerance" policy when they find a job applicant has lied, exaggerated, or misrepresented credentials in any way ... and the employer immediately eliminates that applicant from further consideration. If you maintain such a policy, be sure your underlying background check and verification information is reliably correct, sufficiently detailed, and thorough. And, always give the applicant a chance to respond to the information you've generated.    For FCRA-compliant employment and tenancy screening, contact Doris Hebert-Ferrigno at NRG Background Checks.  941-488-8500;  800-531-6522;   nrginfo@atlantic.net

More employees are planning to investigate changing jobs than at any other time in the past 20 years.  Businesses need to watch the exit door while they try to get more employees through the entrance.  At the same time, preferences for benefits are changing; employees want to retain their freedom.  If you want to discuss how to make your business a magnet for talent, call Patti Guerzo, of Guerzo Business Consulting, 312-420-0884.

~ Just for Fun ~
Two guys are driving in the countryside. One says, "Tiger Wood... isn't he famous or something?"
"Yeah, I think he plays golf or something."
"Does he have a brother named Fire who's in jail?"
"I don't know. Why?"
"I just saw a sign that said 'FREE FIRE WOOD!'"
